What is the Australian Curriculum?
The Australian Curriculum (set by ACARA, now version 9) is the national plan for what students learn from Foundation to Year 10. In Mathematics it is organised into six strands, and each year level lists short content descriptions saying exactly what students should learn. Find the strand and year you are teaching, read the plain-English version, then print worksheets for it.
Counting, place value, the four operations, fractions and decimals.
Patterns, number relationships, and early algebraic thinking.
Length, area, volume, mass, time and money.
2D and 3D shapes, position, direction and mapping.
Collecting, displaying and interpreting data.
Chance, likelihood and simple experiments.
